Currently breeding Cordon Bleu (Uraeginthus Bengalus) and Lavander Finch (Estrilda caevulescens). This wild caught pair from Africa came to Canada via Holland. The pair laid for the first time and had 3 infertiled eggs, the second clutch is 4 eggs and they have 4 babies now. Parents are very devoted and fond of live food such as meal worms and crickets. inspected the today Oct/07/2008 and babies are fine. I will be banding them in a couple of days.
